Adding more stories to my website.

This is another story that is on the front cover of my paper, I have gone into considerably more detail here, although I have used the same picture but that is so readers do not get confused.

I have entered another story from the front page of the paper, about Charlene shaving her head for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is a community based story and this is important for the community side of my paper, as my idea is to combine a newspaper aimed at young people with a community base.

This is a article I have written about the on going bus strikes on the island and I have not taken an image for this yet but I have a couple of ideas as to what I am going to use, the most likely being a picture of a parked bus that has been left by a driver during the strike.

I have written two more stories one about fighting at a football match in Laxey and another about the average income of people on salary's. These both effect young people as the football match was the under 25 teams and a lot of the young population are being effected by cut backs in jobs and courses however, wages for people working with the private sector have increased by 2.8 percent in the past year.

This is an article that I have written about the Isle of Man College offering Degree programs without and fees after Tynwald have now started charging a £2'500 contribution towards any student studying in the UK starting 2014. I have included all of the courses that they will be offering and the basic outline of what they are proposing as well as comments from the principle of the college.

This article is about how the Tesco store on the Isle of Man has recently started selling Manx meat after they refused to due it not passing the standards it required as a company. This article goes into depth about what does happen with Manx meat and how it is of an acceptable standard now, but it wasn't 10 years ago when they first came to the island.

This article was written about the privatization of pre-schools. Including the statistics of the drop in pre-school attendance as well as the cost the government is now enduring compared to the previous cost.

I have added dates to all of these stories and they have started from the 26th of February on wards. My paper will be published once a week on a Friday but the website and the app will be updated on a daily basis. The papers is almost like a summary of the weeks events along with weekends events and a community side as well.
