The home page of my website

This is now what the home page of by website looks like. I have introduced this so that when people open up the page they are not instantly swarmed by loads of text, because lets face it that's enough to put a lot of people off.

I have done slide shows of the images I used for the headlines and hyper-linked a box underneath to take the reader straight there. I have not put any text and there is a reason for this, people are more responsive to pictures and that is a known fact, so if i keep the text to the minimal and give them the open, fresh modern look they are looking for and then from there I can link things together so they are able to get to the information as quickly they need.

I have done the same for the events page, although for this I have used images of events that I have covered but I have also used other images of gigs so that there are more images of the same gig. I am going to try and put this at the top the events page just so I can offer a wide selection of images. If people can see how many people are usually at the concerts they are more likely to attend. I am planning to change the layout of my events page and my headlines page as well.
