Major changes to the website.

So I have decided that I didn't like the theme to my website, it was dark, depressing, unattractive and was in no way linked to the house style of my paper! It had now changed!

It's bright, attractive, eye catching and most importantly links in with the house style of my paper! This is my home page of the internet which I am going to include various stories that are include both Manx and international news.

This is now what the start of my events page looks like. I think I am going to change the advert as it no longer fits with the theme of the page and if it going to appear on the front of my paper it is showing signs of repetition and that is something I don't want to do.

This is the start of my first article for my home news page of the website. It is about the ending of the tuition fees legislation being passed and the concept of the corruption that has gone on within the government to pass it, it includes all the details surrounding the firing of MHK's from the Treasury and the student protests. I have done a lot of research from a number of papers, websites to gain all of this knowledge and I have changed the names slightly so I am able to use my own images of people.

On my events page I have put a slide show of different adverts for local bars at the top of it, so it is giving more adverts than the paper who can just show the one advert at the top of the page because to many of them and it just looks like a free sheet, which is not the impression that I want to give.
The slide show is timed at 3 seconds and it will blur into the next advert, it looks very professional and saves space and prevents over crowding due to adverts.
