The Events Page of my website.

The first page I have started creating is the Events page, I have already got a lot of images and content that I can use to complete this page before moving on the more complex ones were I am going to have to take more pictures and read more into the local stories to see what is going on.

I have added an image that I took when I went to a local rock night called 'battle of the bands' and I have decided to use this image to advertise a weekend of a musical star coming over on my events page. This is the image once I have edited it using Photoshop.

I think this image is very effective as it is a young man playing and singing and it is a good quality image. This is one of many images that I have and that I plan to use to make the events page the best that it can be.
I have added a small section about the events team on the side column, I think that this is important for people to know who they are and for them to know that they do attend the gigs and that they are of all ages so that the paper caters for the older generations even though it is aimed at 16 - 25 it does not mean that there is a valid reason why the older people would not use our sight to find out what is going on.
I have also included an image of Pete Doherty that was taken when me and my friend went to go and see him in 2009. We went to see him and his band 'Baby Shambles' I have also got images of them as well which I may include, But at this stage I am not quiet sure.

This is the first article on the lower section of the events page which is reviews. Here we are reviewing 'Elliot' who is at the moment on the front cover of my paper. However at the moment I am contemplating changing this for a slightly more attention grabbing story.

This is the edited image of Elliot that I have added to my website.

This is the review of the Pigeon Detectives concert that was done in the April of 2011, me and my friend went and it was a really good concert. All the images that are used are my own. I have actually written about the real concert and everything about this even down to the supporting acts and this made the article I have written a lot more easier to produce.  The image below is one of the images that I took but I am thinking that I may include others in a slide show that I will put at the top of the events page.
